ORCB dedicates our Memorial Day concert in honor of all U.S.A. military veterans and currently serving personnel in recognition of their service to our country. 

INDEPENDENCE DAY CONCERT

ORCB will hold its 79th Annual July 4 Independence Day concert at 7:30 p.m. at the A.K. Bissell Park Pavillion. The City’s Fireworks Show will follow the band’s performance. There is never an admission fee, and the public is encouraged to come early as this event usually attracts a large crowd. Bring chairs or blankets for outdoor seating, and Razzleberry’s Ice Cream Lab will provide refreshments.

The ORCB welcomes new musicians. Just dust off your instrument and come join us. No audition required. We rehearse weekly and perform concerts throughout the year. 

REHEARSALS are normally held every Thursday evening 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, 1101 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge.

Oak Ridge Community Band, Inc. (ORCB) has been performing in the Secret City since 1944, when the city was still a secret! Then, as now, instrumental musicians who love to play have entertained our community and lifted our spirits. 

The band performs throughout the year, with outdoor summer concerts at the Bissell Park Pavillion, and indoor concerts at a variety of venues. Concerts include a variety of music appealing to all age groups, with classical, contemporary, big band, march, patriotic and jazz selections guaranteed to include some of your favorite works of music.
